InnoTesting 2012
The Future of Simulation and Testing
Wildau (Berlin), February 23 - 24, 2012
For detailed program please click here
Simulation and testing have always played a significant role in improving safety and reliability in aviation and space technology. This new 2-day conference will give an opportunity to discuss methods and practical experience in the management of the validation and verification processes. InnoTesting will supply a forum for discussion for industry, equipment suppliers, service providers and research institutions. A special focus will be on the transfer of testing methods from aerospace to other sectors (e.g. automotive, railroads, maritime shipping…) and vice-versa.
The conference will be structured in plenary and workshop sessions concentrating on three main issues
• Requirements for products and services (certification, quality standards, environmental issues…..)
• Innovative test design and organisation (research and development, production, maintenance, case studies….)
• The economics of simulation and testing (process optimisation, supply chain management, integration models…)

You will meet experts e.g from EADS Eurocopter, Rolls-Royce, MTU, ADS, Anecom, IMA Dresden, DLR, GEVA, FTI, Astro and other well-known firms and institutions. The program includes a visit to the new Rolls-Royce MTOC Mechanical Test Operations Centre and the option also to see the AneCom Aero Test facilities. The conference is organised by BBAA-Berlin Brandenburg Aerospace Allianz, the Wildau University of Applied Sciences and the Schönefelder Kreuz Aerospace Technology Centre
“Dear participants, dear guests of the InnoTesting conference, the capital region of Berlin – Brandenburg has established itself as an important business location for the international aerospace industry leading to economic strength and high quality jobs. For me it is an especially gratifying aspect that this development resulted in impressive growth not only for some large-scale facilities but also for a good number of specialized small and medium enterprises. New key technologies with a broad scope of applications in other industry fields can easily evolve in this fertile environment. Simulation
and testing are a typical cross-sectional technology – here aerospace has
traditionally fulfilled a pioneering function due to the severe requirements
regarding safety and sustainability. For many years Wildau has been a symbol
for the successful cooperation of academia and business. It will be a powerful
magnet for new business set-ups in the vicinity of the new airport Berlin
Brandenburg Willy Brandt opening in June 2012. Thus Wildau is the ideal place
for the discussion of innovative simulation and testing procedures at the
InnoTesting 2012 conference. I wish for a fruitful exchange of knowledge, insights and experiences and that you have a beautiful time here with us in Brandenburg - we are open for innovators!" Matthias Platzeck - State Prime Minister of Brandenburg |
